Prepregs

Prepregs are the combination of a fibre based substrate with a resin system in a form that is semi solid. As the manufacture of the prepreg is a controlled process very accurate and uniform fibre to weight ratios are achieved. This in turn is vital in enhancing or delivering the desired properties of the final composite component. Prepregs are advantageous in that the fibre and resin are premixed which leads to a very clean and controlled laminating process.
GMS Composites offer a range of prepreg products for different applications and our lean and flexible manufacturing facility means that we are ideally positioned to offer both long run and short run tailored solutions.
Please refer to our prepreg selection data sheets for the tailored options we have available for you and a step by step guiding in determining the prepreg that will be right for you. Request a prepreg data sheet.
